By accessing and using Fast Image Compression ("the Service") at fastimagecompression.com, you accept and agree to be bound by the terms and provision of this agreement.

Fast Image Compression provides a free online tool that allows users to:

  • Upload and compress digital images
  • Adjust compression quality settings
  • Download compressed images
  • Compare original and compressed file sizes

The service processes images locally in your browser using HTML5 Canvas technology.

3. User Responsibilities

3.1 Acceptable Use

You agree to use the Service only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms. You agree not to:

  • Upload images containing illegal, harmful, or inappropriate content
  • Upload copyrighted images without proper authorization
  • Use the Service for any commercial purposes without permission
  • Attempt to reverse engineer or hack the Service
  • Upload images larger than 10MB
  • Upload non-image files

3.2 Image Content

You are solely responsible for the images you upload and process. You represent and warrant that:

  • You own the rights to the images or have proper authorization
  • The images do not violate any laws or third-party rights
  • The images do not contain malicious code or viruses

4. Privacy and Data Processing

Important: Our Service processes images entirely in your browser. We do not:

  • Store your images on our servers
  • Access or view your images
  • Transmit image data to our systems
  • Retain any image information

5. Service Availability

8. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Fast Image Compression shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to:

  • Personal injury or property damage
  • Any damages resulting from the use or inability to use the Service

Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid to use the Service (which is currently $0).

11. Termination

We may terminate or suspend your access to the Service immediately, without prior notice or liability, for any reason whatsoever, including without limitation if you breach the Terms.

Upon termination, your right to use the Service will cease immediately.

12. Governing Law

These Terms shall be interpreted and governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which Fast Image Compression operates, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.

Our failure to enforce any right or provision of these Terms will not be considered a waiver of those rights.

13. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right, at our sole discretion, to modify or replace these Terms at any time. If a revision is material, we will try to provide at least 30 days notice prior to any new terms taking effect.

Your continued use of the Service after any changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.

14. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is held to be invalid or unenforceable by a court, the remaining provisions of these Terms will remain in effect.

15. Entire Agreement

These Terms constitute the sole and entire agreement between you and Fast Image Compression regarding the Service and supersede all prior and contemporaneous understandings, agreements, representations, and warranties.
